Analog Clock Design

With this tutorial you will learn how to make an analog clock design. Not to complicated, but will match most of the windows themes.I`ve started form some basic colors like black, white and blue because I think from this colors you can make a design that will sure fit your theme. You can change the colors, of course.

Step 1

Open new document 200x200 pixels. The background can be any color you like, I used two colors. (#77839a and #848ea2). You can mix them any way you like.
Now open a new layer and with your Elliptical Marquee Tool draw a circle in the middle of the document. To fill it up use the Gradient Tool. Set it like this.

The circle will look like this.

Cut the middle of the circle, make another circle inside and then press Ctrl+X. This should leave you with a small stroke.

Now go to Layer->Layer Style->Bevel and Emboss. Set everything like I did.

Step 2

Now that step one is complete, we should have something like this.

To fill it, make a circle with your Elliptical Marquee Tool, one just like the one you cut. Fill it up with the Gradient from #333333 to #707070.

The clock should look like this.

Step 3

Open a new layer and make two little circles at the bottom in the left part. Fill them with white and set the opacity to 46%. Add some Inner Glow, just let the default settings.

Add some numbers and anything else you want and here you are.

Now all you have to tell us how to do it make it work with JS. Just kidding! I may use the technique somewhere else, other than with a clock.
